Join us for the 24th Annual George A. Pegues Family Self-Sufficiency Memorial Golf Tournament on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Highland Park Golf Course! The Naomi H. Truman Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to residents in public housing and participants of the Housing Choice Voucher Program, who are pursuing higher education. This fundraising effort supports the scholarship foundation and our Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program. The FSS program empowers and equips our
residents for self-sufficiency through education, employment, homeownership, and more. The Foundation has awarded academic scholarships totaling $63,050 within the past year, and FSS has helped approximately 14 families achieve self-sufficiency and assisted additional residents within the FSS program with school tuition, work uniforms, class registration, and more. Next year, we aim to double our impact and need your support!
