Join us for the 23rd Annual George A. Pegues Family Self-Sufficiency Memorial Golf Tournament on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Highland Park Golf Course! The Naomi H. Truman Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to residents in public housing and participants of the Housing Choice Voucher Program; who are pursuing higher education This fundraising effort supports the scholarship foundation and our Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program. The FSS program empowers and equips our residents for self-sufficiency through education, employment, homeownership, and more. The Foundation has awarded academic scholarships totaling $61,050 within the past year and FSS has helped 15 families achieve self-sufficiency, and assisted additional

residents within the FSS program with school tuition, work uniforms, class registration, and more. Next year, we aim to double our impact and need your support!
