Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I apply for a job at HABD? Applicants can apply for open positions by visiting HABD.org/careers and downloading an application.
  • How will I be contacted if I am selected for an interview? Applicants who are selected for an interview will be contacted by telephone or email. Please ensure your contact information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Will I be contacted if I am not selected for a position I’ve applied for? If you are not selected for a position, you will be notified by email.
  • Does HABD perform a background check on applicants? Yes. Successful applicants will have a complete background screening conducted. The extent of the background screening is based on the position the applicant is applying for.
  • If a job was posted on the website a few months ago and it is still posted, does that mean it is still open? Yes. Positions remain on the website until a final decision has been made or the candidate has successfully started the position.
  • Can I still apply for a position after the closing date? No applications or resumes will be accepted after a position’s closing date.
  • May I apply for more than one position at a time? Yes. Applicants can apply for more than one position at a time. However, you must complete and submit an application/resume for each position you are interested in applying for. Please make sure you list the position title on each application in the POSITION APPLIED FOR field.
  • How are salaries determined for positions? Salary is commensurate with experience and based on the position.
